Subsidies for our home-finding services

Employees of private companies with a minimum staff of at least 10 employees in France can now ask for a total reimbursement of some of our relocation services. This reimbursement is limited to 3,200 Euro per employee and subject to specific conditions. Management Mobility Consulting will assist you with the administrative formalities, but we do not take any guarantee related to the reimbursement of your costs.

On what conditions are the two scenarios based?

Example: Peter Müller is sent from Berlin to Paris for 3 years

Peter Müller and his wife Mary have 2 children, aged 12 and 14. They live in Berlin. Mr. Müller is employed in the finance department of a German software company. He earns 75,000 Euro per year. He will be working in his company's French office in Paris for 3 years. Peter Müller and his wife do not know the new city very well. They speak a little French. They want to rent housing in Paris for themselves and their children near an international school.

Before they can start preparing their move, they need:

• information about the availability and location of adequate schools
• advice on districts, types of accommodation, prices, transport etc.
• offers of accommodation corresponding to their particular needs
• preselection of the proposed accommodations
• advice on the lease, utilities, insurances, administrative formalities, opening a bank account in France etc.

In the first scenario Mr. Müller tries to solve these problems himself with some advice from his French collegues. In the second scenario his company asks Management Mobility Consulting to assist him with these tasks.

Scenario A: Peter Müller tries to organise his relocation on his own with just the assistance of his company

1. Peter Müller and his wife come to Paris for a week-end to start their search. Mr. Müller stays in Paris for his work and continues his house-hunting activities. His wife goes back to Berlin to look after their children.
2. Peter Müller stays in Paris for 3 weeks. He only works part-time to continue his search for accommodation. He stays in a hotel in Paris.
3. His wife comes back to Paris for a week-end to visit the appartment selected by her husband. Their children have never seen the new accommodation.
4. Peter Müller takes 5 days off to negociate the lease, to sign the lease, to open a bank account, to procede with the administrative formalities, to install electricity, telephone, water and gaz and to be present when the moving company arrives.

Scenario B: The company of Peter Müller asks Management Mobility Consulting to find an accommodation for him in Paris and to prepare his moving in

1. Mr. Müller and his wife contact MMC. They get professional advice and practical information by telephone and e-mail. MMC starts the house-hunting activities.
2. Mr. Müller comes to Paris. He lives in a hotel during 2 weeks. He works full-time while MMC finds his accommodation. He spends 2 half-days with MMC to visit several appartments preselected by MMC. MMC transmits photos to his family by e-mail/internet.
3. Mrs. Müller comes back to Paris for one week-end to visit the accommodation herself and their children are able to see the pictures on the internet web site of MMC.
4. Mr. Müller takes 2 half-days off to sign the lease & the registration documents prepared by MMC and to be present when the moving company arrives.
