Management Mobility Consulting attended the International Relocation Congress which was held by EURA in Palma de Mallorca from 14th to 16th of April 2011.

Celebrating 14 years in 2011, EuRA, the European Relocation Association, has become the service provision and quality benchmark for the relocation industry.  Their members belong to the top quality service providers in the fields of mobility management and destination services in Europe. Management Mobility Consulting is EURA member since 2001 and had to undergo a complex selection process including interviews of several client companies.

This year’s congress was entitled "InspirationDedication Re:Creation".With over 560 guests from all over the world the congress reached the highest number of subscriptions EURA ever had.

One full training day preceded the congress. Fundamentals Trainings took place about various subjects related to international mobility, such as “International Education and Third Culture Kids”, “The Consultant’s Role”, “The HR Perspective” and “Culture & Psychology; Their Impact on Mobility”.

The Advanced Training session attended by Management Mobility Consulting was held by Dr John Potter, a specialist in leadership in the global economy. The focus was on a seven point plan for delivering highest goals to become a peak performer in business with a practical toolkit for delegates to take away from the day.

Delegates had also the possibility to attend a workshop to prepare their EURA Quality Seal or the “EuRA and Oxford Brookes University Coaching Connections Workshop”. The objective of this workshop was to reinforce skills learned by delegated during a previous Relocation Coaching Programme.

The second day was dedicated to the three main conference sessions “Inspiration”, “Dedication” and “Re:creation”. Delegates learned from top level professionals and leadership coaches how Inspiration and Dedication can be used to keep on top of their professional lives and how best top leaders can re-create, both professionally and personally.

The keynote speech about cross-cultural innovation and creativity was held by Fons Trompenaars, author of global business bestseller “Riding the Waves of Culture”. Delegates got advice on how to meet the critical challenge of building a corporate culture for innovation in a world of management imperatives.

The next Eura Congress will be held in Stockholm from 25th to 27th of April 2012.
